Tell me about the Fall 12 Helmut Lang / HELMUT essentials you selected.
The outerwear that I chose conveys the overriding protective theme of the season - the big hooded puffa and the oversized fur collar on the leather jacket are all good for pulling up to your face to protect you from the elements. Then I chose some of the printed fluid pieces such as the jersey skirt and the printed chiffon dress which are always such a feature in Helmut Lang.

William Morris type florals.

Whatever I see/looking at - films, books, art, weather, magazines, people… anything really.
What music festival/ concert are you most looking forward to this summer?
Port Eliot. It’s not strictly a proper music festival but I love the blend of literature, comedy, fashion, music and art.
What is NY’s best kept secret?
Not really a secret but Fox & Fawn vintage in Greenpoint is great.

Re-reading Lucy Siegle’s “To Die For”

There as no “ah-ha” moment. It was more like “Ahhhhh…. I’m bored. I know! I’ll start a blog to kill time!”
